Kawamoto came to Tokyo shocked to Butoh as seen on TV at the age of 17. She learned Hijikata Butoh nine years from Yukio Waguri in asbestos hall of the founder of Butoh Tatsumi Hijikata. The feature of her Butoh is to be transformed and to embody the affair which occurs to a body.
	  
She's often invited to a festival of each country as a dance composer. The method of teaching from which the individuality is drawn out passionately is standard. She's doing the spread activity of Butoh in the Asia entitled "Asia Butoh Tree Project" in recent years.
